Commissioning me is pretty cheap actually. I’ve broken up my fees depending on what kind of drawing you want, which I’ll go into below. But first:
What I do draw: Anything! Ponies will probably be your primary draw, but if you want something else, or like, a crossover or what not, then please, by all means! If I’m not familiar with the subject matter it may take me longer to get the image done as I gather references / get familiar with the subject.
What I don’t draw: Porn. Not my thing, plus I’d probably be pretty bad at it regardless ^_^; This doesn’t mean I won’t do shipping pics, but nothing too graphic. Other than that I’m pretty open to whatever.
Anyways…commission fees! I think they’re pretty competitive! And remember, all proceeds go to getting me to as many pony cons as possible!
A simple lineart drawing will only set you back $5. This will be whatever you want done in black and white. Simple, quick, and cheap! Perfect for silly little ideas you have stuck in your head!
The next step up is a colored lineart drawing. These guys will start at $10. This will basically be the black and white art with a simple but effective addition of flat colors to give the image a bit of extra punch.
Going for $15, and really only applying to Pony commissions, a show-accurate illustration will be similar to the artwork used in the Scootaloo Book, with fully colored lines, complete details in the eyes, and a more show-accurate style of background (if you include one). Great for an idea that you want to look like it was pulled straight out of an episode!
And lastly, we have an all out, balls-to-the wall digital painting. These will start at $20, and will include detailed shading, and other painterly-esque awesomeness. If you have a grand vision you want realized, this is probably the way to go xD
Something to keep in mind: all of these prices are for a single character and a simple background. If you want multiple characters, an intricate background, or an ultimate battle of ultimate destiny or whatnot, I’ll have to ask for a bit more since those will take exponentially more time to complete. Not a lot, as I doubt there’s any drawing I could feel comfortable asking for than $50 (please don’t try ^_^;), but I just don’t want anypony getting mad if I quote them more than what’s listed here.
